Last night I attended the grand opening event for Evolved SF, a multi-media retail shop with a passion for community empowerment. There was food, drinks, music and most importantly…local fashion. They had some great pieces from local artists.
My cousin Vito was walking around and saw an item that he knew I would like. It was a gray sweatshirt from a clothing brand called Anima Fera. It is called Local Grl Gang and depicts a female hand with beautiful long red stiletto nails holding up the SF sign. The sweatshirt is not available on the website just yet, but they do have the t-shirt on their site and the designer mentioned that it was available as a long sleeve crew neck tee as well. You can contact them via their website or their Instagram page.
While there, I also noticed a small side office that had two softbox lights and a ring light. I found out that one of the owners of Evolve SF is a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger with her own YouTube channel: Thalia Leon. This little bit of information made my heart skip a beat, because as you know by having listened to my Beauty Dish podcast, I LOVE MAKEUP!
If you live in or are visiting San Francisco, stop by Evolve SF located at 3067 24th Street in the Mission District. I’m looking forward to having the owners, Fernando and Thalia, as guests on a future podcast episode.
